Springfield election debate canceled; organizers ‘prioritizing safety’
'The debate was scheduled for Sept. 26 and was organized by Leadership Clark County. LCC executive director Leigh Anne Lawrence said in a statement Wednesday that the board found cancellation to be the “most responsible course of action, in alignment with our mission and prioritizing the safety and well-being of all involved.”'
