Kennedy, Shanahan, and Gabbard all call themselves anti-war, so why do they think cozying up to pretend-dictator Trump and all his tough talk helps their cause? Because apparently the traitor version of anti-war means abandoning Ukraine and letting Putin annex his way across Europe.

There were similar "anti-war" activists in the 1930s, like Henry Ford and Charles Lindbergh and other "America Firsters" who proposed to let Hitler have a free hand in Europe.

Curiously, they were motivated by a shared antisemitism. Actually opposing warfare as such doesn't seem to have been part of their agenda.
