@singlemaltgirl I think the NYT, like Dumpy, is flailing for a strategy. They've trained for decades in the formula: take a candidate's policy positions, critique those positions, show both sides as flawed, pay opinion writers to propose fixes to those flaws. Dumpy broke the mold but they never changed tactics, they just beat on the Democrats exclusively. We had to change.
The media is broken. The fix to that was never going to be 'act like it isn't until it gets better.'
