#Paracord fun. Spent yesterday putting handles on these old Hibben throwing knives. Now I'm getting rid of the basic leather strap and giving my jade buckle the belt it deserves.

Paracord is a lot of fun. I've always loved rope, cord and knots.
Here's a wrap I did above the handle of my small axe last year. Great for when I want to choke up on it, or even use it one-handed. Makes impact as comfortable as the regular handle, and gives a great grip.
@p3R1n01D Very nice! I think that's the wrap I started with on the knives but it wasn't working out so well since a) it was a first attempt and I'm not good at it yet, and b) they're very flat and I wasn't Iiking the bulk it was adding. I'd love to try a walking stick handle with that. The axe looks great!

Thanks! I think it was the opposite for me, started with a flatter wrap then switched to this for added bulk.
One of my first attempts, too. Not quite sure how I did it now. π But it sure is fun!
It would be great for a walking stick, wouldn't it? I might just have to find me a stick!
