So my daughter has court tomorrow and asked for a ride. She is using again so I told that I know she'd walk 20 minutes to get fentanyl so she can walk to court. She tried to guilt trip me by saying I'd regret missing it if she got locked up so I returned the favor and told her she'd regret not getting clean and enjoying life if my lung cancer recurred ,it's only been 7 months since they took my lung out and I can't fight harder for her quality of life than she is willing to or I do my own!.
@Tattoomonkey29 Oh Ronnie. I’m so sorry. I so hope she can become sober. I have a little experience with this, and it’s such a difficult, heartbreaking journey. I wish the best for her, and for you! I’m so happy your surgery was successful! And yes, you must focus on your own health and wellbeing!
@FabulousLVNV ❤️ I hope so too, she was raised around 12 step recovery, I had her at 6 years in and she is 28. I am doing great with one and a half lobes removed, in fact so good that I "forget" and need to knock that off and being gentler with myself! Where there is breath there is hope and she has a lot of love and healing available out there waiting !
