@CanisPundit I was thinking the same. Iād absolutely love to see Pete Buttigieg as VP but tragically, I donāt think the U.S. is quite ready for an openly gay man to be in such power. Weāre getting there, but not quite yet, I think. Cooper is a straight, white family man who cannot run for Governor anymore. Dems need Beshear in KY, Shapiro in PA and Kellyās senate seat in AZ. Ultimately, sheāll choose someone she feels comfortable with. Thatās what really matters.
@FabulousLVNV Harris & Cooper were both Attorneys General around the same time and reportedly established a friendship from that shared experience.
I repeat the phrase āoverwhelming turnoutā is needed to overcome Republicans and international actors gaming our electoral process. The presidency must be protected from the Right wing firewall of the Supreme Court.
Ex. Bush v Gore. Actual recounts SCOTUS ruled against occurring showed a Gore victory.
@CanisPundit The phrase āhanging chadā is forever etched in my brain. IMO Gore actually did have the presidency stolen from him. Iām very optimistic about November, but the biggest enemy we face is complacency. Folks need to show up!
