PSA:

If you're looking to get genetics testing done on yourself, avoid 23andme. Your data will go straight to Glaxo Smith Klein. 23andme cannot be trusted.

@Expecting_Words Not to worry, all your family, cousins, uncles will have already had it done, and they will know a lot about you even though you never participated or signed your dna info away.

That's how they caught that one mass murderer, which I support, I guess, but my privacy counts too.

but not to them.

@Expecting_Words

Took the 23 and me DNA test this January as part of a birthday gift before knowing all my genetic into would be sold to big Pharma. Joined FB in 2010 where all my info. was probably sold to Cambridge Analytica. I’m just sticking to CoSo now. So tired of my data being a plaything!

@Expecting_Words
What is infuriating is that info can be imputed to family members who intentionally never provided a sample.

@Expecting_Words Genes4Good through the University of Michigan may be a better option...and FREE...
