I really hate that Starlink is "owned" by Elon. It's such an amazing, much needed service, for SO many people (myself included). I HATE supporting that POS by having Starlink. Internet is a needed utility these days, and I just don't have another decent option. :( I feel icky. Need a bath in Purell.....
@KazzyH I DID get it, BEFORE Elon went all whackadoodle....I was on the wait list for over a year. lol If the ISP that services my home would upgrade their stuff, I'd switch back. But DSL speeds in 2023 is just NOT acceptable. Homeschooling during the pandemic was TOUGH with 3 kids and shitternet.

I did too then he went insane ( or outted his insane self ) and I couldnt. We can get hughsnet or a dish type as well but I guess I'll just continue to find tiny spots in my house where I can pick up a signal on my phone. 🙃 it sucks. I was really hopeful I could get 5g but too much interference between us and the tower. On the map it showed I could so I made an appt and got a roku. 😪😪😪 and NOPE.
We have a monopoly in my town for fiber and I won't do it lol. It's also $$$
