My baby turned 16 years old today. She's surly, and sarcastic. Smart and sassy. My Peanut.
I told her the older they get, the more dogs I gotta add to the pack...lol *sigh*
@AverageCitizen She starts drivers ED in about 3 weeks and is chomping at the bit to drive and get a job. I've told her to slow down....Adulthood is SO much longer than childhood, she has the rest of her life to "Adult". lol
@Evereigh so true! Good luck with drivers Ed, my 15 is doing the classroom part in August. I was lucky his job is only a 5 minute walk from our house, so I don’t have a job driving him to his job. 😂
His friends are working more than he is (because they’re working for their family businesses) so that feeds the boredom. I was hoping he could work 15-20 hours/week in summer.
@AverageCitizen @Evereigh If he’s bored, can’t you get him involved in a sporting club or some kind of hobby?
@Nimthiriel @Evereigh my hubby makes him go up north to the cabin (fishing) on the weekends but he pouts about that too. It’s just that age where they don’t want to be around parents. He’s my youngest, so been thru it before. 😁
@Evereigh I believe every parents who love pets are awesome, wish that you could update the little buddies tat you will give you your daughter.

I feel your pain, my 15 yo is just a ray of sunshine (/s). He got a job but they’re only giving him about 4 hours a week to start out. He’s bored.
