Anyone else get annoyed by supposedly left-wing organizations that get you to open their fundraising mail by enclosing non-recyclable “free gift” stickers inside? Like how many snail-mail envelopes do you think I send, ACLU, Nature Conservancy, and EarthJustice? And how many pink bumper stickers do you think people will put on their cars, Planned Parenthood?
Worse, most people won’t even know to remove them, making the low rates of paper recycling even worse when stickers gum up the machines.
If they really make you mad, and they send you a "business reply" envelope, you can wrap up a brick, tape the envelope to it, and drop it into a mailbox.

I put myself on Federal and state "Do not junk mail me" lists some time back, and it seems to have worked fairly well.
