there are about 5 holes along the window frame. it appears the yellowjackets were using 3 of them today, so the plan is to use the foamy wasp spray on the lowest hole & try to inject the Raid into the holes that appear to actually be closer to the nest.
how likely is this to get me stung?
plan B is to get a canister of CO & spray that into the wall... but that might leak inside so i'm iffy on that idea

@IRNMKE3 it's night here. last night there were guards, but i was just out checking if i could reach the entrance holes... there was one hole, but i sprayed into it & then puttied it over. they chewed a bunch more holes. i'm not sure exactly where under the siding the nest is... so i'm not sure which hole to spray into or if they'll come out the other holes when i do.
i'm highly allergic so messing up would be bad

@redenigma hit them at all the holes from a distance, the spray should be able to do that, the foam will just envelope them as they leave, run around to your other door and get inside, LOL

@IRNMKE3 we were spraying the foam stuff at them from the upstairs widow this afternoon.
so if i foam the holes do you think that would give me time to stick the tubing straw on the Raid into the hole i think is closest to the nest & blast them?

Yellow jackets can’t fly in the dark, though they can still crawl and sting.

They will all die in winter, so depending how much damage they’re doing, you may be able to wait for then and then spray enough to kill any that try to re-occupy the space.
