the stories of empty fields and abandoned construction sites warm my heart
Construction jobs are a touchy subject. Those immigrants are doing work that would go to union workers at higher wages, and maybe not as motivated to perform satisfactorily. The GOP would love to look like they're taking those jobs back for Americans, while simultaneously not making businesses pay more for labor. What to do????
@EileenKCarpenter @tgraph52 I am not sure anyone wants convicts building their buildings. I could see #Florida forcing convicts to farm though.
