Education is mostly free, Information costs nothing, Entropy and Chaos do not beget progress and positivity, and yet, Racism, somehow persists. In some nations, it underwrites and elevates other issues, some legitimate, to disproportionate levels. Why is RACISM still so powerful?
@singlemaltgirl I agree, though I think misogyny and racism are fundamentally rooted in insecurity, which points to a failure in parenting and mentorship.
@EdgeOErin not always. i've seen some incels come from some loving caring parents. sure, there's nurture but i don't think it's always the parents fault. sometimes its peer groups, other relatives, etc.
@singlemaltgirl Oh, yes, for sure. Individuality and Outliers.
People learn it from their racist parents, mostly, and at a young age.
@EdgeOErin
I think that fear of the, "orher," is rooted in our DNA and takes conscious effort to overcome. Even those who believe they haven't a racist bone in their bodies show some level of racism when tested
@EdgeOErin why is misogyny so common? or sexism?
after all, women account for approx 50% of the world's population.
it's all about hate. and we learn hate at an early age. takes a really long time to undo hate once we learn it young.
