The horrors Hamas visited upon Israel will not be erased by revenge. Security, yes, but not at the expense of humanity.
@Dane Do I have all the answers? No. Hamas is horrible, no argument there. They do need to be stopped. But collective punishment of a people (where babies are killed in shelling/bombing) is also a crime against humanity.
@Dane Thanks. Setting aside your attitude, how much time do you have? Imho, there may have been an opportunity for a different approach. Perhaps, still a blockade, and initiatives for those in Gaza to implement a regime change. Pressure, extreme pressure, but no carnage.

When people kill babes humanity is no longer part of the solution. And yes, vengeance is appropriate and deserved.
