Look, I get it. An animal attacks people repeatedly, so we want to protect the people by removing said animal from the system.

2 things though:

1. The animal is likely drawn to a given area because we throw food out into the wild - they don't want to be around humans if they don't have to (Me neither TBH)
2. The animals were almost always there before we came along.

At least they didn't kill these crocs as an act of revenge like they do to sharks.

Sometimes, my friends who still buy into the idea propagated by major political parties that voting for an independent is a waste try, yet again, to convince me that that myth is true.

But it's not.

My excellent local MP (pictured right ๐Ÿ‘‡) does lots of important things, not least yelling the exact thing I'm thinking straight at the government so that they cannot help but hear it.

That's the benefit of voting independent. Your local MP will represent you, not some party-line compromise.

Aaaand, I just this second learned that you can really easily clip gain multiple clips simultaneously. ๐Ÿคฏ

Whenever I think I find something in Logic that I can triumphantly shout, "Aha! Pro Tools rules!" about, I find a way around it.

Clip gain, for example: there's no little handle on the clips, but 2 keystrokes give you a tool to do it.

Then I find things that are very cool indeed: There's a tool that strips out silences and trims the clips automatically, and you can batch-add fades at the start and ends of multiple clips at the same time.

โ€œThe last ever dolphin message was misinterpreted as a surprisingly sophisticated attempt to do a double-backwards-somersault through a hoop whilst whistling the 'Star Spangled Banner', but in fact the message was this: So long and thanks for all the fish.โ€

I imagine that, given the leaking to the Murdoch propaganda organisation part is not in dispute, the investigation should be pretty simple, but... ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

In reality, however, I reckon it's a pretty good bet ol' Walter can rely on his mates to cover this nonsense up like they always do,,,

I hope not, but ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Another example of very rich people suddenly experiencing climate change and yelling at the people they continually vote to stop trying to address climate change to pay for the fix:

Looks like everything's going great! ๐Ÿ‘

Also: I have immense sympathy for the hard work that goes into developing and distributing a useable app, but you generally want to launch one that works at least a bit. And, as for "Customer Care"... Yeeesh ๐Ÿ™„

I had to go to renew my driver's licence today. Couldn't renew online because they need a new picture and eye test every 10 years.

I was only there for 20 minutes all up, including the waiting time. It only took a few minutes to do the licence, but I also had to return an old E-toll tag, and that proved to be trickier for whatever reason.

All in all, it was a really good experience, so I wanted to make sure the excellent public servants at Service New South Wales got at least some praise ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ ๐Ÿ‘
