Something has been bothering me, and I don't know if this is something that we as a society have thought about...
There was a point that we all just collectively decided to wear blue pants.
It doesn't matter if you look good in blue, or if you even like the color at all, you might hate the color blue for all I know. But I can say with absolute certainty that I know you have worn blue pants, and you never thought it was weird.
ITS WEIRD!!! ITS FUCKING WEIRD!!!
@HawkHorton jeans are blue pants. This is what I'm talking about!
@DanIsWriting Black jeans turn grey quickly and it makes me sad. Sorry that is off topic. Blue jeans, on the other hand, tend to fade gracefully.
There's a reason denim fades - it's the dyes. :)
What dye? I thought blue jeans were made with blue cotton.
You don't want the explanation about indigo dyes and fabric, do ya? I am periodically overly literal.
That said, if you do:

@DanIsWriting in Australia blue pants are generally a sign that you're a Tradie (builder, plumber, electrician, etc), so white collar & middle class people tend to avoid them unless they are pressed slacks.
Personally, I love blue & have several pairs of dark blue pants.
@Shadow298 right, and this raises another question.
Blue collar / white collar. Its just not relatable anymore. We should have been classifying people by the color of their pants!
@DanIsWriting Only if they were purple pants & describe themselves as "quirky".
@DanIsWriting I've always assumed that it's because people have the blues, and this is the only socially acceptable way they have of signalling that.
@mrfumblethumbs in that case, my concerns have multiplied exponentially.
@DanIsWriting Welcome to my world, my friend.
This is why I stay home and bake.
@DanIsWriting What about jeans? Personally, I'm not a fan of blue pants other than jeans.
