I’m actually glad DuhSantis threw his hat and white gogo boots into the 2024 race, because his flameout will probably wreck his chances in 2028, which is when he could have won the entire race because there’d be no Trump. His ego got the better of him; he would have had a much better chance to win if he’d waited. Arrogance did him in.
I agree, but I do wonder what it's going to mean for us in Florida. Will be go back to pre-COVID where he was terrible, but quietly so, or will he take it out on us here and attempt to remain relevant?
That's an excellent point. He seems desperate to claw his way back into public favoribility, even though he also seems to be chronically unable to connect with people. That desperation could lead to increasingly reckless acts. Scary.

And if reports are true, his wife is just as, if not more desperate. I think she'll stick out his tenure as governor, then strike out on her own. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw her run for state office as his term winds down.
