This is a huge problem. 22% voter turn-out. We have got to better! This is embarrassing

@DCliffo A primary. Were there any races seriously contested where a vote could make a difference?

@walterbays It's not much better for any election. And yes, a higher turn out could have affected the outcome. It's the apathy. We need to vote. Every election, everytime. Dems don't consider it a civic duty. It is. Repubs do. They come out in much higher #'s. We need to do better.

@DCliffo Apathy or resignation? Thinking one vote or one office or one election will not make a difference, that we're doomed.

An R in an inconsequential office can't matter. Yet those little Rs grow up into powerful new offices they can use to strip rights from citizens.

Conversely, one election, 2008, gave all Americans health care. This election could give Americans freedom to decide about their own bodies and own loves.

@walterbays I'm always disappointed at the low voter turnout in my county. I guess I just need to lower my expectation. Sadly.
