Let's have some fun!

First computer game you remember playing.

Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards. I'm not 100% it was the first, but we were hardcore on buying everything that Sierra put out and I remember guiding Larry through the disco so clearly.

@Cosmichomicide my parents didn't believe in video games, but we had a Fireworks app for the Commodore 64 where you could program a fireworks show with music and a marquee. It was probably better in color instead of green screen, now that I think of it.

EGA, baby!

And I also played all the Carmen Sandiego games - it was a thirsty time for gamers.

My first interaction with a Commodore 64 was a sub shop where I worked. The owner had all his inventory and such on it - and a few games, LOL!

@Cosmichomicide when my parents finally decided that Carmen Sandiego was okay, I was in heaven!
And my C64 didn't have any programs stored on hard drive.... Ours was 100% floppy.

@CarmenSlamdiego

One of the funniest things I remember, that was serious at the time, was someone commenting about the "code bloat" because the new WordPerfect required floppy swapping, but WordStar didn't.

Floppy swapping. I'd nearly forgotten.
