FUCK.

They denied her application because her income isn't enough right now. but she submitted tax return for the years to show she does make enough money. I have a 0 credit and 0 debt so I don't qualify and didnt put my name on the application for the loan.

So when we put the application in a couple weeks ago - the property manager said to my gf's face (i was standing there) "Consider it yours, you should know by friday" so they had her hopes up and all that jazz making it seem like all was good and then called this morning and said denied because income not enough right now - and get this. I asked about re-applying with my name and a co-sign because i make enough to afford the loan and lot rent etc. BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1/2

Apparently they have already moved on to a second applicant and we would be behind them in line if we re-applied ~! Didn't even give us a chance to re-apply before moving on to the next person!!!!!!! 30,000 dollar trailer....

Putting my power of negotiation skills to work I've contacted the buyer of our current home's property manager and discussed 5k cash to keep our home. We'll find out possibly tomorrow or day after depending on when dude get's back to property manager. Let's keep hoping.

Remind them that all those little annoying things that a long time resident either ignores or works around - gonna have to fix those for a virgin renter.

Nothing big or structural - that squeak, the loose door handle, the knob that needs jiggling...

I personally could make quite a list of sticking doors, creaking cabinets, washer cycles to avoid, the only correct temperature mix setting on the shower no one uses...
