So, that's not Ukraine.
All that trouble with glue, scissors, yarn and pasta and no one notices they mislabeled the crime scene poster.
As with any broad-spectrum con job, the goal is to exclude anyone smart enough to pick up on the con and then exploit, exploit, exploit everyone who's foolish enough to buy it for every last red cent they've got.
@Cosmichomicide Why bother? They know their target demographic either won't check, or will just say mountains of evidence that something is nonsense is "fake news", or will make up excuses on their own, like "It doesn't matter, the map is just a graphic, it's the _meat_ of what they're saying that's important!"
@Cosmichomicide Also, they intentionally are selecting for people dumb enough to not know anything and resist finding out. They aren't looking to get sensible people to believe them, because that would be hard, and there's millions of already-stupid people to cater to.
Selecting for people who have been staring at graphics of Ukraine for two years but don't recognize it or even get a vague feeling of wrongness.
Though, to be fair, Maryland always throws me in silhouette.
@Cosmichomicide It's kind of like how those Nigerian Prince scams work. They aren't aiming them towards people with a grain of sense, they're aiming for those without it.
@Cosmichomicide
The problem here is that the MAGApublicans most likely don’t care.
It’s all a performance to fool the rubes? Maybe not even that; maybe it’s just cyclical lip service for job security — the elected recite the selected myths, the deplorables are gratified and demand more bullshit, the elected comply lest they lose their office…and on it goes. 🤔🤷🏻♂️
