There are sci-fi / fantasy authors I feel dirty having pissed away credits on after discovering they're known shitheads.
@Clavius_42 Orson Scott Card is high on that list.
@sfleetucker I got six of Neal Asher's books then shorty afterwards discovered he's basically a daily mail poster boy, thinks vaccines don't work, climate change is a hoax, and stopped going to sci-fi conventions when they started having 50/50 male/female panels.
