Before I drop an Audible credit I now feel compelled to check whether the author isn't a known terf, anti-vax, climate change denier, racist, tinfoil hatter, sexual abuser...
There are sci-fi / fantasy authors I feel dirty having pissed away credits on after discovering they're known shitheads.
@Clavius_42 Orson Scott Card is high on that list.
@sfleetucker I got six of Neal Asher's books then shorty afterwards discovered he's basically a daily mail poster boy, thinks vaccines don't work, climate change is a hoax, and stopped going to sci-fi conventions when they started having 50/50 male/female panels.
And while I wasn't referring specifically to him in my last, I've not read any of his comics or books / collaborations, his filthy hands are smeared over stuff that I do love. So, yeah, fuck Neil Gaiman, and anyone questioning the validity of the claims made against him.
