Took another step in the right direction today and finally deleted my 15 year old FB.
And I feel nothing but relief and feeedom. CoSo is where I am at anyway, but felt some crazy need to keep it. Learning more and more how to let go of things. Physical and otherwise. It feels good.

@CinnamonGirlE I politely dropped out of a big family txt chat group after someone posted a somewhat nasty Trump meme. I just thought about it for a while and decided that I need to start cleaning house with people who are just awful, but I tolerated b/c they were extended family. Not anymore. 10 years of this chaos and at least 4 more worse years to come. I'm so done with all of this.
It felt pretty good. Except that the whole chat group was shut down b/c of someone's response to my post.

I am like, once I reach a certain point with people, I can't go back if I want to. Maybe that's why I try so hard to never reach that point.
@CinnamonGirlE So, I left the group chat immediately after posting the good-bye message, along with a tweet from Nick Fuentes mocking women after the election, just to expose what they are supporting, like it or not. As expected, someone posted a nasty response which included, "liberals are too sensitive." So, he basically proved my point immediately after I posted. lol

I had to go through resetting mine,lol.
Having worked at facebook I know they and nearly all social media platforms and some private companies can track you through your phone. There were work arounds to prevent it, but it grew to be a hassle so I deactivated my Fb acct long ago.
With a cristo-fascist party fully in control of the Exec, Legislative & Judicial branches of gov't & w/X already helping him, I cannot stay on there.

yes, they are a sister to fb and can track you also. CoSo is the only one that doesnt track you. neither does proton mail if you want to do the whole underground thing. if you are going to support activism efforts that's something to consider.

one last thing, if you are going to be part of an underground resistance you can use Insta knowing full well you can be tracked. There are advantages to this as Ukrainian soldiers and resisters in the dombas region well know. They used their phones to ID coordinates of russian troops and let ukrainian soldiers know where to strike. Worked REALLY well.

Been off twitter for a couple years now. Best decision I made. Amazing how you can come here and find people posting fav music, great articles, beautiful photos. Funny memes and pizza wars. This is SM that is good for your soul.
