NFL PSA...DON'T FUCK WITH OUR PLAYERS DURING THE SEASON

A police officer who detained Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill before Sunday’s game has been placed on leave. Body cam footage released yesterday shows an altercation during a traffic stop in which officers pulled the NFL player out of his car, raising questions about why the situation quickly escalated.

@Madken65 OK so CBS just showed the officer cam. When you are pulled over for speeding, you are already technically under arrest so if an officer tells you to leave your window down, you don’t tell him not to knock on it. If you disrespect a law-enforcement officer in a traffic stop nothing good EVER comes from it.

I know it's an unpopular opinion, but when the cops pull you over, you do it, and you act accordingly. They aren't taught to back down. If you ramp up, they will too. And it's guanranteed you won't like it.

@CinnamonGirlE Yep. Many officers have been shot at traffic stops as well so the police taking a harsh stance should be anticipated by the person who is under arrest. It’s also a ruse to complain about knee surgery when being asked to sit on a curb when you were about to go to a Full Contact sport game. I also just read that he sped past two motorcycle cops, you better be the president of the United States if you’re going to do that.

I mean, you can't break the law and not expect consequences. Or at least that's the way it's supposed to be.

@CinnamonGirlE when he said he couldn’t sit due to knee surgery, one officer said, “ and I guess you can’t keep your window rolled down because you had ear surgery” 😂😂

@CinnamonGirlE I know a guy who once answered the question are you in a hurry with the answer In fact officer I am. He was also a decorated detective at the time so there’s that.

I realize some cops are absolute criminals themselves. There are bad "everything". And they should have to pay the price.
