@publickovacs
When I arrived for my blood work this morning there was a little old man in front of me who was two days early for his appointment. It's going around. 😂
@CinnamonGirlE
And I also had blood work first. Parallel lives much?
@publickovacs
Very parallel. I am headed to the eye doc on Friday. Just a field test though. They will dilate me which always takes at least a day to go away. You doing okay?
@CinnamonGirlE
I *am* at eye doc for a post-op - three weeks out from stent placement and recovery hasn't gone well in the last little bit. Labs were for suspected mineral deficiencies behind debilitating muscle cramps. Define okay?
Hope your field test goes well!
@publickovacs
This doesn't sound wonderful. But you do have vision. Hoping you get the deficiencies corrected and back on the mend. And thanks.
@CinnamonGirlE
Thank you. I am partly blind in the left eye where all this drama is happening - retinectomy in 2020 - but hanging on tooth and nail to what I still have 😘 My right eye is doing fine, mercifully
@publickovacs
I am happy to hear it. When my husband was alive, he had a traumatic injury to his eye which knocked the iris to the back of the globe. As a nurse. I have seen lots of pain, but this eye pain was sometjing else. He lost vision in that eye. I understand how we have to guard our vision. Glad you are on the other side of surgery and moving to healing. 😘
@publickovacs
He does, lol. He walked like Tim Conway in Carol Burnett and I just wanted to help him, bless him. He got in his little car and drove away.
@CinnamonGirlE @publickovacs
Cinni, you have time to rock.
I love poppy 1960's rock. I liked when the Buffalo Springfield played pop music over their folk-rock.
Neil Young's "Out of My Mind" Sept 1966

How about Baroque Pop of the 1960's, like Pet Sounds, another love of mine?
@Bix
My late father was a Baroque music aficionado, so I grew up to Bach and Mozart. Sometimes he would play records where jazz or R&B artists played the pieces of Baroque composers in their styles. What a jazz pianist can do with that is totally mind-blowing. While I am ignorant of Baroque Pop, my background makes me open-minded and interested . Thank you for the recommendation!!!
@publickovacs @CinnamonGirlE
I study (play) a little jazz everyday, but I listen to more rock than anything.
I have a bit of classical music in my collection. I would like to audit some classes on it.
Anyways, a big band or an orchestra are about the best things in the world - all those parts working together to make art.
@Bix @publickovacs
You sure are teaching me a lot I didn't know about music. I highly endorse these two.
@CinnamonGirlE
Okay, that dude wins, though
