I don't discuss grief a lot here, but I do occasionally. I think it's important so people know they aren't alone.
It isn't linear. It rises and falls like a tsunami. But it does get better.
And then you live again. For them. And for you. Hold on.
You decide what is right for you. Get help if needed. It's okay.

I completely and sadly understand. Lost my husband in 2018 after a two year fight with cancer. I fell into depression, then Covid hit after that. It was a long several years. Last year I started doing better. This year my family and friends say I am unrecognizable from what I was.
I am so sorry about your wife. And I am glad you have somebody. I too met someone. I understand it meaning the world. He's a best friend and more. Being with a caring soul is always better than alone.
