The thing of it is that society has changed: if there is a giant problem in a storm, sorry Boomer, nobody is coming really. If someone does come, Heaven forbid they get injured or stuck, there are no outcomes where that doesn’t cost thousands. Get them to really read what their car insurance says, or even better: get them to call!
