Okay, I need some ideas on how to tell (ask / strongly recommend) my parents not to travel here on Friday. The weather warnings for this storm are really concerning me. It would be nice to say that directly to them, but I am lacking in confidence.

@ToriLRidgewood so even if they’re still pretty spry and pretty connected, it’s time to start saying that they cannot do all the things that they used to do. Period. The thing of it is that society has changed: if there is a giant problem in a storm, sorry Boomer, nobody is coming really. If someone does come, Heaven forbid they get injured or stuck, there are no outcomes where that doesn’t cost thousands. Get them to really read what their car insurance says, or even better: get them to call!
