So much for a warm Welsh welcome. I just hung up on a siarad (Welsh speaking practice) because I told the ladies twice that I had a death and am in mourning. Not a single one of them expressed condolences. They just kept on talking about themselves after the leader said "paid a phoeni" in response to my apology for being out of sorts. Is this normal?

Follow

@JeniRizio No that is not normal, anyone whether I know them or not say, "I have experienced a death," would receive a "My deepest sympathies to you," as generally I do not know how to really respond other than that, but it better than nothing, or ignoring the situation.

Therefore, my deepest sympathies to you

@Caryani Thank you very much. I appreciate you offering condolences when the fools at that meeting did not bother.
