Is the FCC still an agency? Average half hour TV show is now 17 minutes of commercials. I just timed one. And I pay a cable bill to listen to 50% ads?

@CapeSafety the FCC has been headed by bad actors for a while now. Torpedo net neutrality, and whatever else is demonstrably a bad deal for users.

@CapeSafety: Ads pay for program production and more. The FCC doesn't regulate that part. For more details or to ask questions, contact them. They *tend* to be decent at getting back to people... mostly.

@CapeSafety We cut the cable cord 7 years ago. $150 a month for what? We have streaming services and an antenna. No ads at all.
