Afghanistan’s Taliban governing body has pledged to gradually enforce a law banning the media from publishing images of all "living things," reports Alarabiya News . A spokesman for the country’s Ministry for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice said the law will be implemented in increments across the country, along with a campaign to convince the public that taking images of living things is a violation of Islamic law, according to the AFP.

I've always wondered about the Iranian regime prohibiting images of Mohammed, as they would be idolatrous, but permitting big murals of their ayatollahs.
