@Bukowskiwithacamera my feed is actually pretty dead except for major companies and brands. I had to scroll for 100+ tweets earlier before getting to a real person.

@Bukowskiwithacamera My feed has been pretty well curated/fine tuned over the past 13 years, but basically all everyone's talking about is Twitter rn. I haven't seen cesspooliness yet.
@Bukowskiwithacamera my Twitter feed has been assiduously curated to burn off as many ugly types as possible. I don’t follow rwnjs. I don’t really engage a lot but I do use it to bathe in leftie political waters, Non-Murdoch journalism & the doggos & kitties pics too, of course.
Right now, many of my fave accounts are discussing setting up Mastodon and/or Bluesky profiles. Back door escape routes are flying open in a grand flurry!
@Bukowskiwithacamera I have a few accounts on birb but only go to the cute animals and comedy ones now (I spent/spend a fair bit of effort curating them) so haven't noticed much bile on those feeds but, yeah bit of a dumpster fire on the others when I checked.

Blue checks talking to blue checks at a much higher rate
Only being able to see a few out of the listed number of responses to a tweet
Credentialed experts, especially in history, economics and medicine - gone or not as visible.

@Bukowskiwithacamera I haven't noticed much of a change, actually, other than the skyrocketing entertainment value of watching Twitter's new owner publicly flail after closing the Worst Business Deal Ever (TM). However, other statistical observers seem to have noticed a marked uptick in hate speech.
@Bukowskiwithacamera Twitter was always chaotic. The challenge for sites like this is to create a more civilised environment without being an echo chamber like Truth Social etc
