Received letter this morning from Health Equity Inc - a company we never heard of and certainly didn't give any personal info to.
"... unauthorized access ... HSA ... your personal information ... may include ... full name, address, telephone number, employee ID, employer, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, dependent information, payment card information."
I would like very much to return to an all cash system if nobody minds.
@BrazenlyLiberal I got one yesterday, same strange company with no history of me directly interacting with them, never heard of them at all ever. Eight pages of explanations and remedies. Creepy.
Turns out they manage HSA's, Cobra, and Lifestyle plans.
So it's your health care savings account.
Why tf is it always (almost) health care outfits? Hospitals, medical security (!!!) companies, etc.
