Trauma ortho surgeon released me from wrist & arm braces. Dumbfounded by my range of motion with no actual PT.
I explained packing to move is its own form of PT. Will start real thing in NJ. Also took large/daily dosages of raw calcium, D3, magnesium, K2 which lays down new bone tissue. X-rays are great.
Always astounded docs don’t prescribe ANY supplements. Factually clueless.
My biggest urgency after move is getting registered to vote.
Glad to hear you're mending so nicely! Keep surprising those docs - they need a little shake-up.
My doctors have prescribed all of those for me except D3 because I already had high levels of that. Interestingly, it was the cardiologists who prescribed them and new internist agreed.
Amazing. Never had a doctor who prescribed supplements. Not one.
Well, you don't want to take them if you don't need them. The problem imo is some doctors hear you have a problem and without much thought prescribe whatever drug the pharma sales rep left samples of.
As an example of a doctor thoughtfully prescibing supplements, when I mentioned to my main cardio that I had miserable pins & needles in my feet when I lie down, she said "magnesium" and she was right. After trying a couple different formulations, poof! Fixed.

Everyone needs magnesium per health experts.
