Huge thanks for all the responses to my post that I'm back and well! It's been truly heartwarming. I've always said there's no such thing as "just social media friends." Friends are friends! β€οΈ πΏοΈ
As some of you know, my father was diagnosed with breast cancer back in March. Yes, male breast cancer. Get checked, guys!
It's rare, and usually very bad or fatal because nobody is looking for it, so it's detected late. Fortunately, Dad's was detected early and he is now 100% cancer-free! π
That's terrific! π

Thanks! β€οΈ The whole thing came and went so fast, my head is still spinning. Just thankful it all worked out so well!
He had great doctors, and of course great support at home. We live together, partly in anticipation of things like this in his later years.

Yes, it does go crazy fast. It seems a big life event like this should include a lot of contemplation and planning, but it's bambambam xrayCAT scanhospitalknife.

That was exactly it! Kinda like having kids, or choosing a career path. π
Dad barely even needed the heavy pain pills for 24 hours, then he switched to ibuprofen. Now he's back to mowing the lawn, at 80 years old! πͺ β€οΈ
The lawn? Really? When he's done at your place, ours is a little shaggy.
That's impressive!
Now I feel like a lazy slug.
