Well, I finally saw my GI doctor one month after being in a crisis which has since resolved. I spoke my truth at the debacle in which my care was handled. My throat chakra was wide open! I advocated for myself and made sure that I was heard! One thing I learned is that I am not in Kansas anymore (Long Island), which I had much easier access to my doctors. Life rolls differently here in Rockland County due to there being less doctors. Reality check done and a new reality has been accepted!

Glad to hear this! Being an advocate for ourself in health care is more important than ever.
Please don't let it it upset you. A dozen different things can cause a temporary spike.
I understand how it can be hard to let go. If you can't help focusing on it, call your doc's office & ask what they think is a good bp for you. Then get a sphygmomanometer to monitor your bp at home. Get one that wraps around your arm & inflates itself, then gives you a digital readout. Amazon has them for ~ $35 or $40. Or you can probably get one at the nearest drug store.
112/85 is excellent.

I know. I am just hoping that today was just a fluke! 🙏

Aww, thank you! I am hoping that it was due to my being upset when my BP was taken. I eat a pretty healthy diet. I normally run 112/85. I will be talking to the MD on Monday. I will definitely invest in a Sphygmomanometer. Thank you so much for the recommendation. I will look on Amazon for the type you suggested. It's a good tool to have, especially since I'm getting older!
