Didn’t know you can freeze them 🫐🍌

Oh, yes! I make a blenderful and pour it into 8 Oz canning jars. I've done it with dozens of smoothie recipes & they all come out fine.

It's a nice snack to grab & go.

No, but someone who liked it could. I try not to add too much of anything to the blunanas because the blueberry flavor is easily overwhelmed. These have some vanilla soymilk to thin them out and a dash of pineapple juice.

@LnzyHou

I really have tried to like yogurt and can't quite get there. It must be me because millions of perfectly reasonable people love the stuff

@LnzyHou

I toss in about 2 cups frozen blueberries & a couple of frozen bananas. I blend that to see how thick it is (today it was like grout!πŸ˜‚) then I add the vanilla soymilk gradually until it's almost a drinkable consistency and top it off with a splash of pineapple juice.

@LnzyHou

The soymilk dulls the blueberry flavor a bit but the pineapple perks it up again.

Been missing ice cream terribly since dumping sugar, white flour, potatoes, pasta, etc

I will experiment to make my own version.

@LnzyHou

Hm. I know of some very tasty nondairy "ice cream" but they have sugar.
