Farming industry in Florida is having a meltdown after the right wing government passed a bill sharply limiting immigrant labor in the state.
I mean…you get what you vote for.
Red states aren’t poor because they make smart moves.
Farm work is back breaking labor and few Americans have the skills (yes, it requires skills) and the willingness to do it.
We really need, as a nation, to make seasonal work immigration easy. And when I say need, I'm not talking ethics and morals. I mean the economy relies on it, yet the laws keep getting in the way.
