On another baking spree. Today I learned how to make pitas from scratch. Never getting store-bought again...

Here's my pita.

Came out pretty well. Not all of them developed pockets.

We ate them with some lentil soup I made earlier in the week.

@Dobo I just YouTubed it. There's an East Indian gal who makes them on a skillet I used.

I used 1 tsp salt, but after testing the end product I probably should have used a little bit more. Maybe 1.25 tsp.

Used the skillet-in-the-oven technique, next time I'm going to go with skillet-on-the-stovetop so I can press down on them. Should make them puff up better.
