@Bix "Hey, if you're miserable now you should try bringing a new life into that misery." That's not a solution, that's a continuing cycle of misery! That's how you perpetuate whatever is likely causing the original sadness! Better advice would be address the actual issue, then one day maybe come into a place to be able to raise a child in a stable environment. Or decide you don't need that in your life and find something that moves you even more.

Friend was born in the '60s. Her mom was married & didn't want kids. Desperate enough to throw herself out a tree to try to induce miscarriage. Didn't work. Friend was born. Postpartum depression hit. Doc told her having another baby would fix it. She had another. That made things worse. Her marriage failed. Dad took off. Mom ended up losing both to foster care. One kid got married while in high school to an asshole to escape foster care. Had a kid she didn't want. Rinse, repeat.
