Overnight, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted a drone attack on Morozovsk Air Base, reportedly resulting in the destruction of at least 6 Russian fighter aircraft.

As recently as April 4th, Russian MoD news showed Su-34 fighter-bombers equipped with UMPK-fitted 500kg bombs at Morozovsk, for the first time.

It is possible that poor Russian standards of OPSEC have allowed Ukraine to attack Morozovsk and degrade this new capability.

Jay in Kyiv:
The 6 Russian bombers destroyed this morning in Rostov Region is just the beginning.

Ukrainian Armed Forces now has the capability of drone strikes to 3000km.

Russian oil infrastructure, airfields, Putin's palaces all on the menu.
