I am at the point in my life where I could retire with an OK pension & 401K account.
I am not special, I feel guilty that others may not obtain anywhere near that level.
@Bix I was on my way to a point much like you but then getting let go and having to use most of 401k to pay off stuffs kinda put a dent in that. You shouldn't really feel guilty about it though
@Bix hmmm, you are presenting with clinical signs of empathy with pro-social features. You might need reeducation depending on our election outcomes.
@Bix I understand the feeling. We gone from really struggling to being in a stable situation. It does give me a twinge of guilt at the relief I feel to be here instead of there when so many others still struggle.
But because we are only stable due to hubby’s sacrificing his health in the Navy the feeling is fleeting…but still a shadow.
You’ve earned what you have. Regret that others don’t have the same shows you’re a good person.
@Bix since Van Halen is disbanded I’m concerned about the performance of my Roth IRA.
@Bix
You earned what you have, Bix. But, I understand the guilt. It's hard to watch others struggle.
