Babies cry. It’s what they do.
Sometimes, they cry on planes.
As someone without children, I keep in mind that I only have to hear this on occasion. Parents have to hear it all the time.
Thus, it’s easy for me to put on my headphones and keep my mouth shut.

@charlotteclymer as a parent, now when I hear a baby on a plane I am just overcome with a sense of relief that I am not the one who has to deal with it (and compassion for the parents).
