I joined in with the strike and put my shop on hold in order to protest Etsy’s price gouging. I have noticed since that I put it back online, I hardly get any traffic to my site anymore. I wonder if something is going on there or if it is just a coincidence.

@BipolarArtist when you put a hold on your shop it takes it out of the search algorithm and it might take a bit to get back on.

@BipolarArtist no problem! I do not think Etsy is sophisticated enough to be able to figure out people's reasons. Not to say they wouldn't use it to their advantage of they could.

@LeftArrowTees yeah I wasn’t prepared to go full conspiracy theory. Mostly just disappointed in the less traffic.

@BipolarArtist I've had the same thoughts lol. No worries. The block box that is there search engines leave lots of room for speculation.
