@Liliki @nursefrombirth I worked in many food processing plants over my years. Everything from candy to meat processing. The cleanest one had bathrooms with no doors, automatic flushing and faucets and air hand dryers. The food was never touched by human hands, everything was automatic till the pallets were taken from the freezer and loaded on trucks.
@nursefrombirth @Liliki When you went to wash your hands you put your hand under a soap dispenser and it would dispense the soap automatically. Then you washed your hands, putting them under a hand shower at the sink. There was ni touching of surfaces. No one could leave behind contagions and there was no way to pick them up. Plus, in the plant and labs you wore hairnets and plastic gloves. Everything was super sanitary.
@Liliki @nursefrombirth I am thinking I was at the plant I am thinking of decades ago. I do not think the hand dryer study was out then. I would like to see what they are doing now.
@BFBucky1 @nursefrombirth btw, did you read about hand air dryers? They actually spread fecal particles in the air to land on skin, hair and be breathed in 🤢🤢🤢
