My mother passed in her sleep in Florida last night. At almost 95, she lived a full and adventurous life
A natural redhead & Taurus, she went to nursing school in her 40’s and ran an Alzheimer’s unit before anyone knew that word
She took art classes in her 60s & painted beautifully with water colors. Pictured is one called Primavera
She could take near-dead African Violets from a neighbor, co-worker or KMart trash and nurse them back to life
A life well-lived indeed

@LnzyHou I am not sure what my grandmother’s issue was but she was subjected to shock treatment. She was a sweet woman and would hug me and ask me not to let them take her. I wasn’t even a teenager.
@Boilergal @LnzyHou Yes but she lived a long life. She spent her final years in a church home and was happy.
