George Harrison and Eric Clapton performing the best version of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”
(Japan Live 1993)
I only posted this - again - so I could pin the toot-:)
@evamarie George Harrison is just awesome!
Right?
Just love this version of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” with Eric Clapton. I still listen to it at least once a week:
@evamarie @lunamarexplores I have a negative view of Clapton since COVID. All that great music I can’t listen to anymore.
If I didn’t read the books or listen to the music of artists whose opinions I didn’t like, my life would be poorer. I had a good friend who was an artist who once said, “listen to the art, not the artist” and that principal has helped me throughout the years. 😉
@evamarie @lunamarexplores I agree with, "listen to the art." That being said I find myself unable to.
Most of my favorite authors are not very nice people (Hemingway, and JK Rowling included) and if you dig into the opinions and lives of most great rock artists, the same can be said. So, while I’ll not patronize Hobby Lobby because their owners are foul, I’ll pretty much listen to any musician or read any author regardless of my dislike for them personally. 🤷♀️

Sometimes the reverse is true. I love Stephen King dragging musk and trump. 💕
@evamarie @LnzyHou @lunamarexplores Back in my hippy days it was a requirement.
