it was pretty dumb that they had to euthanize/kill this poor squirrel. of course the completely calm, normal squirrel tested negative for rabies.

Sometimes common sense should win
So weird because it's not that long ago that the only squirrels on the east coast were pets, and they weren't considered capable of fending for themselves in the wild in an urban environment.
