they do crack down, it’s just done with less fan fare… lately there have been several huge drug busts of suppliers. @bmacmixer @nursefrombirth
ie here’s one on a smaller - but significant to the drug addicts in San Francisco, California - bust just a couple days ago that took inter-agency coordination and planning:

I think the real sham is that governments don’t do coordinated attacks on kingpins and their top distributors, put them in jail in one swoop.
A significant, larger bust:
